Why subscribe?

That’s a great question. A couple of great answers for you:

1) It’s totally free. Like, $0.00. The worst part about subscribing is a new email newsletter cluttering your inbox. But here’s the thing about that: Once you open it and, obviously, read every single word, the number on the side of the screen? Of unread emails? It goes down by one. If you ask me, that’s community service. And I’m all about serving said community.

2) My hope is to write about things people enjoy. Now, of course, not everyone can love all the same things. There’s a good chance that at least one reader won’t care for both Ted Lasso and the ethics of documentary filmmaking (both possible topics). But I promise that there will be something here for you to like, eventually at the very least. You don’t have to read everything. Just stick around for what you do want to read!

3) Because it would make me smile :)

Just a writer with too many feelings. Which is probably the dictionary definition for "writer," but never mind that.
